Emma is the Dignity and Respect Officer at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dún Laoghaire. Working across the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Unit and the Human Resource Dept., their role focuses on facilitating institutional culture change through both pedagogical and policy development. Their research and writing practice is concerned with social mobility within the creative and cultural industries, with particular reference to social class, race and gender. Emma holds an MA degree in Gender Studies (UCD), a BA in Visual Culture (NCAD) and Postgraduate Certificates in Consent, Sexual Violence and Harassment: Practitioner Skills and Practice (NUIG), Assessment and Evaluation (IADT) and Learning and Teaching (IADT).
