Stephen Meyers
Steven Meyers er deildaforseti kvikmyndalistadeildar Listaháskóla Íslands. Hann er fæddur og uppalin í Michigan í Bandaríkjunum og stundaði nám í kvikmyndagerð og kvikmyndafræðum við FAMU í Prag, og Columbia University School of the Arts í New York, þar sem hann laun MFA gráðu í kvikmyndaleikstjórn. Steven er margverðlaunaður leikstjóri stuttmynda og reyndur handritshöfundur, þar sem verk hans sameina fagmennsku og sjónræna sýn. Áður en hann hóf störf við Listaháskóla Íslands starfaði hann sem ráðgjafi hjá Kvikmyndamiðstöð, og kennt handritagerð og leikstjórn við Kvikmyndaskóla Íslands. Starfsferill hans spannar bæði hagnýta framleiðslu og kvikmyndamenntun sem hann nýtir í leiðtogahlutverki og leiðsögn til upprennandi kvikmyndagerðafólks.

Steven Meyers
Steven Meyers is the Dean of the Film Department at the Iceland University of the Arts. Born and raised in Michigan, USA, he was educated at both FAMU (the Czech national film school) and the Columbia University School of the Arts in New York, where he earned an MFA in Film Directing. Before joining the Iceland University of the Arts, he was a fiction consultant for the Icelandic Film Centre, founder of the Reykjavik Film Academy, and taught screenwriting and directing at the Icelandic Film School. His professional background spans both project development and film education, which informs his leadership of the department and mentorship of emerging filmmakers.
